CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA --
The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office says Deputy Carlos Francies died while saving the life of another.
The South Lake Tahoe Police Department informed the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office of Francies' death. They say he jumped into deep lake water and saved another person who was drowning.
Francies worked in Martinez and lived in Sacramento. He is survived by his wife and three siblings. Two of Francies' siblings also work in law enforcement.
Francies coached youth football.
The most disturbing death of an officer of all time. When I was in custody I met Deputy Francies who treated me very well and with respect. When he arrived to deliver medication he remarked at how sad the situation was for my cell-mate who was the Rossmoor Arsonist.
The DA’s office screwed him by extending his sentence to the day he will die. His property like that of others will likely be purged by the keepers of the “system” leaving no doubt that the county grinds citizens to broke and destitute even though they’re net worth is real estate the Contra Costa Bar Association will block access to the courts and attorneys know which cases not to take.
The grease is everywhere.
